The 1930 Duesenberg Model J Convertible Sedan by Murphy was one of the surprise results when it achieved $3,525,000 at the RM Sotheby's Amelia Island 2022 sale last month. The result was more than a $1-M above the pre-sale upper estimate and the 7th Duesenberg Model J to have sold for over $3-M in the past yr.

RM Sotheby’s earned $46,636,640 with an 89% sell-through rate and 12 cars sold for over a million dollars.
