Who we are

Live Trading News is published by Knightsbridge Group, a software company registered in the United Kingdom and the United States. Our editorial platform is operated at https://www.livetradingnews.com. Questions about this policy should be sent to [email protected].

What we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to understand how our content is read and to operate the platform.

• ·Page views: The URL path, approximate timestamp, and HTTP referrer of each page request. We strip query strings before storage.
• ·Approximate location: Your IP address is passed to a geo-lookup service (ip-api.com) to derive country and city only. The raw IP address is never stored.
• ·Referrer and search terms: If you arrive from a search engine, we extract the search query from the referrer URL. We store the domain only for other referrers.
• ·Contact messages: Name, email address, subject, and message body when you use the contact form. Used only to respond to your enquiry.
• ·Editor accounts: If you are a registered editor, we store your name, email, hashed password, and post-quantum identity key. This data is used solely to authenticate you and attribute your published articles.

We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking of any kind.

How we use your data

• ·Traffic data (page views, referrers, countries) is used in aggregate to understand which topics resonate and to improve editorial decisions. It is never sold or shared.
• ·Contact messages are read by the editorial team and used only to respond to you. They are deleted on request.
• ·Editor account data is used to authenticate you and to attribute published articles. It is not used for advertising.

Third-party services

• ·ip-api.com — receives your IP address to return a country and city name. No PII is retained by this service beyond the immediate request.
• ·Telegram — when you subscribe to our Telegram channel, Telegram's own privacy policy applies. We only send article headlines and links.
• ·Armature L1 (chain.kxco.ai) — cryptographic hashes of published articles are recorded on our permissioned blockchain. No personal data is included in these records.
• ·DigitalOcean Spaces — editorial images are stored on DigitalOcean's object storage. DigitalOcean's data processing terms apply.

Cookies

We set one session cookie (kxco_sess) strictly for authenticated editors. If you are a reader and not logged in, no cookies are set on your device. We do not use advertising, analytics, or preference cookies.

Data retention

Page view records are retained indefinitely in aggregate form for editorial analytics. Contact messages are retained until you request deletion. Editor account data is retained until the account is removed by an administrator.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and applicable US privacy law, you have the right to:

• ·Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• ·Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• ·Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
• ·Object to processing of your data for analytics purposes.
