When is a Broker not Really a Broker?

It sounds like the beginning of a joke, but this company is anything but. TRADE.com may or may not be a name you have heard of already but certainly they seem to be getting more headline inches than the US China Trade talks. They are a new generation of company that delivers complex and simple investment products to the everyman. They have literally democratized investing and here’s how.

TRADE.com initially launched in 2009 and in the last decade they have been offering CFD trading products to the retail trader through their proprietary platform. As a regulated European brand, no complaints there. But that wasn’t enough for this, some might say futuristic broker, that has recently relaunched itself as a multi asset brokerage firm.

The company now offer some incredible products that would usually be reserved for institutions or HNWIs at least. Some of these products include big name IPO allocations before they go public, Thematic Trading, a top-down investment approach that tends to focus on wider macroeconomic trends, Direct Market Access giving investors direct access to the exchanges of hundreds of thousands of global securities, Spread Betting, Asset Management services and more besides.

Who are TRADE.com?

TRADE.com are a very transparent multi asset brokerage house with offices across the capital cities of Europe and beyond. Trade.com which is the trading name of Trade Capital Holding holds multi-jurisdictional licensing under FCA in the UK and CYSEC in Cyprus, tied agent office under a Bafin broker in Germany, and FSCA in South Africa.

They also conform to MiFID directives and as such are able to passport their services across the whole of the Eurozone.

Which products might interest you?

They certainly have a wide selection of products. We have summarized the main ones here:

This product allows you to invest in late stage start-ups just before they go public. It’s very rare to be able to get an allocation on these kind of private growth companies, but somehow TRADE.com have given you the chance to invest in proven companies and even unicorns before anyone else, through these highly sought after equity funds. Allocations work on a first come, first served basis. Recent names include Airbnb, Uber and Lyft.

DMA means Direct Market Access and plugs you straight into the market for best market price execution. Or you even have a portfolio tailor-made to suit your investing style and financial objectives. The portfolios comprise a combination of equities, fixed income and alternative investments and results are all verified by Deloitte.

Spread Betting

Additionally if you are in the UK or Ireland you can Spread Bet with TRADE.com through their proprietary platform which contains some amazing features. And if you aren’t then you might like to try trading CFDs which is a way to speculate on the markets rather than the buy and hold approach. CFDs can be traded in both rising and falling markets.

It’s worth noting that TRADE.com team of support staff are available to guide and support investors and traders 24 hours a day, 5 days a week in a multitude of languages. TRADE.com also encourages clients and potential clients to set up a meeting in their local office, to put a face to a name and to understand the products that might suit them face-to-face.

Risk Warning

CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 73.84% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.

The value of your investments can fall as well as rise, which could mean getting back less than you originally put in. Past performance may not be indicative of future results. All trading involves risk.
