Weinstein Accusers: Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow + 9 More

Tuesday, actors Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie joined the ranks of women who say Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein sexually harassed them as news of his alleged widespread abuse of women in Hollywood spreads.

Harvey Weinstein reportedly harassed Ms. Paltrow at his hotel after hiring her for a lead role in his adaptation of Jane Austen’s “Emma” when she was 22. She refused his advances and then-boyfriend Brad Pitt confronted Weinstein. She said she was warned to keep quiet about the incident.

Ms. Jolie said she was harassed in Harvey  Weinstein’s hotel room in the late 1990’s.

“I had a bad experience with Harvey Weinstein in my youth, and as a result, chose never to work with him again and warn others when they did,” Ms. Jolie said. “This behavior towards women in any field, any country is unacceptable.”

And listed below are 9 other women who say Harvey Weinstein harassed them, as follows:

1. Rosanna Arquette

According to reports Harvey Weinstein asked Ms. Arquette to stop by the Beverly Hills Hotel to pick up a script in the early 1990’s, then had her sent up to his room where he allegedly asked her for a massage and tried to take her hand and put it between her legs. He then reportedly boasted about other famous women he had slept with and the role intended for her to someone else when she refused him.

Harvey Weinstein allegedly lured Ms. Kendall to his apartment after taking her to a movie screening, then undressed and tried to get her to massage him. She says he chased her around the room and wouldn’t let her leave, then tried to bargain with her to show her breasts. She refused and finally got away, but the incident stole much of her enthusiasm for the movie business. “If this is what it takes, I can’t do it,” she told herself.

3. Ashley Judd

After Mr. Weinstein invited her to a business meeting at a luxury hotel, he asked Ms. Judd repeatedly to massage him, watch him shower, and sleep with him. She refused and left.

4. Asia Argento

“B. Monkey” actress Argento said Harvey Weinstein forced oral sex on her after telling her there was a Miramax party at the hotel (Weinstein was the only one there). Although the 2 later had consensual sex, she said she felt forced into the initial encounter.

Other women who have accused Weinstein of unwanted advances on them over his several decades as a movie producer and distributor include:

5. TV reporter Lauren Sivan

6. Company employee Emily Nestor

7. Assistant Lauren O’Connor

8. French actor Judith Godreche

9. Costume designer Dawn Dunning

According to reports Mr. Weinstein’s attorneys claim all physical contact was consensual and that the women were not retaliated against for refusing his advances.
