The Week Ahead on Wall Street
There are only 5 members of the S&P 500 scheduled to report earnings this week, they are:
Brown-Forman Corp. (NYSE:BF.B) and Salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM) Wednesday, and Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO), Campbell Soup Co. (NYSE:CPB) and H&R Block (NYSE:HRB) Thursday.
The week’s 1st notable economic report to Wall Street will be July personal income and spending, released Monday.
Tuesday feature the June S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Index and the Conference Board’s August consumer confidence survey.
The August ADP employment report, the August Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) and July pending home sales will be released Wednesday.
Thursday features August motor vehicle sales, revised Q-2 productivity, the August PMI manufacturing index, the August ISM manufacturing survey and July construction spending.
August jobs data, including the change in NFP’s (nonfarm payrolls) and the unemployment rate, July international trade and July factory orders will be released Friday.
This week 4 US Fed officials will make public speaking appearances, Wall Street will take note.
Boston President Eric Rosengren and Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari Wednesday
Cleveland President Loretta Mester Thursday, and
Richmond President Jeffrey Lacker Friday.
