The Week Ahead On Wall Street

This week about 200 members of the S&P 500 will report earnings to Wall Street.
Included are DJIA components: Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) on Monday; 3M (NYSE:MMM), Du Pont (NYSE:DD) and Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG) Tuesday
On Wednesday, Boeing Co. (NYSE:BA) and United Technologies (NYSE:UTX)
Chevron (NYSE:CVX) and Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE:XOM) report Friday.
Fed Policy Meeting
The FOMC will hold a 2-day meeting starting Tuesday. The meeting statement will be released Wednesday at 2:00p EDT. The futures market is pricing in a 97.7% probability of “Unchanged”.
The Economic calendar,
March new home sales will be released Monday.
Tuesday: March durable goods orders, the Conference Board’s April consumer confidence survey and the February Case-Shiller home price index.
Wednesday: February international trade and March pending home sales.
Thursday features the 1st estimate of Q-1 GDP.
Friday we see March personal income and spending, the April Chicago PMI and the University of Michigan’s final April consumer sentiment survey (MSI).
Fed Speak
Dallas President Rob Kaplan will speak publicly Friday.
US Treasury Action
The US Treasury Department will auction $26-B of 2-year Notes Monday, $34-B of 5-year Notes Tuesday and both $15-B of floating 2-year Notes and $28-B of traditional 7-year Notes Thursday.
