Q-1 earnings season will be busy, with 124 members of the S&P 500 scheduled to report this week.

Included in this group are DJIA components Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) Tuesday and Merck & Co. (NYSE:MRK) Thursday.

Economic Reports

The week’s 1st economic reports to Wall Street will be the April PMI manufacturing Index, the April ISM manufacturing survey and March construction spending. All 3 will be released Monday.

On Wednesday the April ADP Employment Report, March international trade and the 1st estimate of Q-1 productivity. April jobs data, including the change in NFPs (non-farm payrolls) and the unemployment rate, will be released Friday.

6 US Fed officials will make public appearances this week

Atlanta President Dennis Lockhart and San Francisco President John Williams Monday.

President Lockhart and Cleveland President Loretta Mester Tuesday

Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari Wednesday,

President Lockhart, St. Louis President James Bullard, Dallas President Robert Kaplan and San Francisco’s Williams again Friday
