The Week Ahead On Wall Street
Tuesday is Election Day in the US, with early voting underway in many states.
Earning season continues this week as 31 members of the S&P 500 are scheduled to report. Included is DJIA component The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) Thursday.
Economic reports
The week’s 1st economic reports will be the Labor Department’s September job openings and labor turnover survey (JOLTS), will be released to Wall Street Tuesday.
Friday features the University of Michigan’s (MSI) preliminary November consumer sentiment survey.
Fed Speak
This week 4 Fed officials will make public speaking appearances:
Chicago President Charles Evans Monday and Tuesday
Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari and San Francisco President John Williams Wednesday, and
St. Louis President James Bullard Thursday.
US Treasury Action
The US Treasury Department will auction $24-B of 3-year T-Notes Tuesday, $23-B of 10-year T-Notes Wednesday and $15-B of 30-year T-Bonds Thursday.
