Below are our Buy calls for Friday, 8 January, as follows:

American Equity Investment Life Holding Co. ([NYSE:AEL](NYSE:AEL)) was upgraded to Buy from Neutral at B Riley Securities, which lifted the price target to 36 from 30. The consensus target is 30.44.

Arista Networks Inc. ([NYSE:ANET](NYSE:ANET)) was raised to Buy from Neutral with a hefty 335 price target at Rosenblatt. That compares to the 283.23 consensus target.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. ([NYSE:JPM](NYSE:JPM)) was raised to Buy from Neutral at BofA Securities. The US banking giant has traded between 76.91 and 140.76 a share over the past 52 wks and carries a consensus target of 131.18.

Roku Inc. ([NASDAQ:ROKU](NASDAQ:ROKU)) was reiterated as Buy at Needham and the price target was raised to 400 from 315. The consensus price target is 131.57. Roku stock trades in a 52-wk range of 58.22 - 373.80.

Teladoc Health Inc. ([NYSE:TDOC](NYSE:TDOC)) was started with a Buy rating and a 240 price objective at BTIG Research. The consensus price objective is 242.78. 

US Bancorp Inc. ([NYSE:USB](NYSE:USB)) was raised to Buy from Hold at Jefferies, which boosted the price target to 38. That compares with a 50.55 consensus target .
