Uncle Mo Producing Winners Everywhere
The stakes winners keep coming for Uncle Mo, the latest to salute being Jessica Krupnick (5m Uncle Mo x Wear Red, by Henny Hughes), who captured the $75,250 Dashing Beauty Stakes at Delaware Park.
Trained by Francis Abbott, she won the six furlong sprint by a nose taking her overall record to five wins and six placings from 16 starts with prizemoney in excess of $200,000.
Jessica Krupnick is the first winner for Wear Red, a half-sister to Grade I winners Eskendereya and Balmont.
She is the 41st stakes winner for Uncle Mo.
Progressive filly Mo Shopping (3f Uncle Mo x Stopshoppingmaria, by More Than Ready) landed her first Black Type success when taking out the $50,125 Light Hearted Stakes at Delaware.
Trained by Todd Pletcher, she was tenacious to the line in scoring a half length win in the 1m 70yd feature.
A homebred for Repole Stable, Mo Shopping is the first winner for stakes-winner Stopshoppingmaria and is the 39th stakes-winner for Uncle Mo.
Stopshoppingmaria has a yearling filly by Uncle Mo and was covered again by him this year.
