ESCAPE IS A GATHERING PLACE MEANT TO GALVANIZE THE ARTISTIC, GASTRONOMIC, AND SOCIAL LIFE OF THE COMMUNITY.
An escape need not be grand, or even planned, but it must transport you. At Escape, they seek to take you away, even for an evening, from your usual day-to-day grind, be it through an unexpected dish, a surprising cocktail, or an inviting DJ set, spinning tropical house sounds that instantly conjure up balmy nights by the sea.
The venue itself is akin to a never-ending vacation, bringing together the best facets from some of the world’s most beloved destinations: the earthiness of Bali, the vibrant beaches of Mexico, the opulent textiles of Marrakech. Easily accessible yet entirely isolated from the fast-paced city below, our sky-high getaway will be your own bubble of bliss, floating you off on a quickie holiday without ever having to leave Bangkok. This is your daily invitation to let loose, let the good vibes in, and let the mania of the metropolis slowly melt away. So make a break for it—they’ll be waiting, cold drink in hand…
We are finally open! Come and join us to experience our range of cocktails, craft beers and wines along with a selection of signature tapas. Open from 5pm till late daily. Weekly entertainment with Resident DJ’s and friend’s. #EscapeBangkok #BetterWithEscape #SuhkumvitSecretSanctuary #UnlockYourSoul #EscapeWithFriends
A lengthy foyer lined with high stools, circular tables and communal benches, The Sail is our most casual area, welcoming all with its charming bamboo cladding and buoyant straw lanterns. Equipped with its own kitchen and beer bar, stocked with a wide selection of craft brews from around the world, it’s become the preferred spot for after-work drinks and spontaneous meetings in the heart of Sukhumvit. To pair off with those beers, the food menu proposes tapas-style nibbles and charcuterie sharing boards. Guests can look forward to live musical performances on a near-daily basis, featuring jazz, funk and soul bands, singers and percussionists.
The heart of Escape is centered around a striking oval bar, strewn overhead with thousands of white streamers swaying in the breeze. Hand-crafted cocktails, fine wines and champagnes are all served here, alongside delicious eats from both the finger food and full dinner menus. The Ellipse’s prime location affords stunning views of the sun setting over the bustling city, best enjoyed from a seat at the bar or from one of the long, pillow-strewn sofa benches. Best of all, the area comes complete with its own DJ booth and specially designed lighting effects, making it the designated dance floor for when the party fully gets underway.
Inspired by the high-ceilinged haimas of the Moroccan desert, The Tent offers an opulent escape from the city’s hectic crowds and high temperatures—it is the only area furnished with air conditioning. Dimly lit and sumptuously decorated in a variety of rich textures, the area invites cozy catch-ups and informal celebrations, serviced by a fully stocked bar and kitchen, from which flows tantalizing treats, decadent mains and unapologetic comfort fare. Commanding the room is a single dark slab wood table: measuring 5-meters long and framed on either end by circular velvet banquettes topped with real trees, this functional centerpiece lends itself perfectly to intimate dinner parties with close friends and family.
For ultimate privacy, opt for a table at the Terrace. Set apart from the rest of the venue, this little slice of seclusion comprises comfy sofas and cushioned benches; however, the true hidden gem—and one of Escape’s best-kept secrets—must be the trio of curtained cabanas overlooking the shimmering lights of Sukhumvit (advance booking essential). Settle in for a long, laid-back evening of great food, fine drinks and groove-worthy music, lounging and indulging till late.
