Time to Bomb North Korea
Over the last week North Korea has repeatedly threatened South Korea, Japan the USA and Australia with a Nuclear strike. Should that happen the parties involved now only have themselves to blame.
The world has to stop entertaining the threats like this from countries like Iran and North Korea. It is especially stupid considering the death toll, destruction and financial cost of wars America started in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Libya over their “regime change” ideals.
The regimes that need to be changed are those that threaten to kill by the millions innocent people in other countries.
Yesterday North Korea warned Australia of a possible nuclear strike if it continues to “blindly and zealously toe the US line.” It comes after Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop said Pyongyang poses a “serious threat” to peace and stability in the region.
“If Australia persists in following the US moves to isolate and stifle the DPRK and remains a shock brigade of the US master, this will be a suicidal act of coming within the range of the nuclear strike of the strategic force of the DPRK,” a spokesman for the North Korean Foreign Ministry said, as quoted by the official KCNA news agency.
The threat comes after Bishop said earlier this week that North Korea is on a “path to achieving nuclear weapons capability,” posing an “unacceptable” risk to the region. She added that its efforts must be stopped by the international community.
A report in the Rodong Sinmum, the official newspaper of the North’s ruling Worker’s Party, said US military personnel could be targeted in South Korea.
“In the case of our super-mighty pre-emptive strike being launched, it will completely and immediately wipe out not only US imperialists’ invasion forces in South Korea and its surrounding areas but the US mainland and reduce them to ashes,” it said.
“If we notice any sign of assault on our sovereignty, our army will launch merciless military strikes against the US aggressors, wherever they may exist, from the remote US lands to the American military bases on the Korean Peninsula, such as those of Japan and elsewhere.”
