The Presidential Debate, Where to Watch It

President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden are scheduled to meet tonight, Tuesday, 29 September 2020 for the 1st of 3 Y 2020 Presidential debates.

Tonight’s debate will take place on the Health Education Campus at Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

The 90-min debate runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Pacific time (9-10:30 p.m. Eastern) and will last 90 minutes. There will be no commercial interruption.

All of the major TV networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, PBS, Telemundo and Univision will air the debate.

Cable news channels that include CNN, C-SPAN, Fox News, MSNBC will also carry the debate.

Most major news outlets will also provide live streams on YouTube, including ABC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdJ8SDOFrdw, CBS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HnKFUNlcfY and C-SPAN https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wW1lY5jFNcQ

The Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV and XBox One streaming devices will also offer live feeds.

NPR radio stations that plan to carry the debate include Southern California stations KCRW-FM and KPCC-FM.

Fox News anchor Chris Wallace will moderate tonight’s debate, which will feature six 15-minute segments on the following topics selected by Wallace and announced by the Commission on Presidential Debates (https://www.debates.org):

  • The Integrity of the Election

A vice-presidential debate between Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Kamala Harris follows on Wednesday, 7 October, at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

President Trump and Mr. Biden will meet for 2 more debates: Thursday, 15 October, at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami, Florida; and Thursday, 22 October at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

All debates begin at 6 p.m. Pacific time.
