FLASH: Donald J. Trump 3-2 Favorite to win in 2020
President Donald Trump is a 3-2 favorite to win the 2020 Presidential election, with his odds unchanged following Senator Bernie Sanders’ (I:VT) official bid announcement, says sportsbook brand manager Dave Mason of BetOnline.ag.
“There were no changes to Sanders’ odds following the announcement,” Mr. Mason said. “We had it as a foregone conclusion that he will be in the Democratic mix.”
Senator Sanders raised $4-M in less than 12 hours after saying he would run for the 2nd time as a Democrat. He will need hundred’s of millions for a campaign to be relevant.
12 Dem lawmakers have entered the race, including Sens. Kamala Harris (D-CA), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass), Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn), Cory Booker (D:NJ) and Representative Tulsi Gabbard( D-HI). None of them is formidable.
Ms. Harris sits behind President Trump in the bet count at 8-1 odds and former Representative Robert O’Rourke (D-TX) is 3rd with 10-1 odds. Former Vice President Joe Biden is 4th at 12-1 odds and Crazy Bernie Sanders 5th at 14-1.
Messers O’Rourke and Biden have yet to announce a Presidential bid but have hinted at entering the race.
And, and Hang On, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is 80-1.
