Tesla’s (NASDAQ:TSLA) M3, From Production Hell to Delivery Hell
$TSLA
Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) Sorry folks, we have gone from Production Hell to Delivery Hell Tweeted Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk.
Delivery logistics hell is a problem that is tractable, and Mr. Musk says Tesla making progress. And that it hould be solved shortly.”
Mr. Musk made that response in a Tweet to a customer complaining about her delivery delay:
Billionaire CEO Elon Must, 47 anni, earlier this month faced investor ire over smoking marijuana on a live web show, has indicated in the past that Tesla’s customers may face a longer response time because of a significant increase in vehicle delivery volume in North America.
Tesla’s ability to deliver on production targets has weighed on its stock price, and the company has been working to iron out major production problems after failing to meet production targets for its M3 sedans.
The company said in August that it expects to build a total of up to 55,000 M3s in Q-3 of this year.
Last week Mr. Musk said the company would eliminate some color options for its EVs to streamline production, the colors are the most popular and can now be had at a premium price.
