Susan Rice was Invited, She Refused, Now She will be Subpoenaed
US Representative Trey Gowdy (R:SC) has now threatened to issue a subpoena to former President Barack Hussein Obama’s national security adviser, Susan Rice, regarding the congressional investigation into Russian interference in last year’s presidential election.
The South Carolina Republican was asked during a TV interview Thursday’s about Ms. Rice’s decision not to testify in front of a Senate judiciary subcommittee.
“There are things called subpoenas. You shouldn’t have to use it with a former national security adviser but if you do, you do,” Mr. Gowdy said. He called Ms. Rice, who admitted last month to unmasking the names of Americans caught up in government surveillance reports, a “very important witness” in the case.
Ms. Rice said she asked for the names of Americans to be unmasked for intelligence gathering purposes, saying she never did anything for political reasons.
Susan Rice lied, as is her history.
