Southern California’s ‘Poverty Pimp’ Maxine Waters Attacks Auto Industry

US Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) is divisive claiming automakers discriminate against nonwhites when giving out car loans.
Representative Mike Kelly (R-PA), an auto dealer, said in a TV interview Saturday segment that Ms. Waters’ cited a study that severely flawed. Mr. Kelly and Ms. Waters engaged in a fiery back-and-forth Friday on the House floor on the issue.
“To say that somehow we prey on non-white people is incredibly divisive and it is not who we are as a country,” Mr. Kelly said. “This cancer that is breaking us down as a people you can’t talk that way.”
The House was debating whether to roll back an Mr. Hussein Obama-era rule that protected consumers from discrimination from dealers.
Ms. Waters got hot on the House floor over Mr. Kelly’s remarks that she was trying to divide Americans by pointing out discrimination.
“I want you to know that I am more offended as an African-American woman than you will ever be,” said Ms. Waters.
“As a person that works in the automobile industry you cannot sit there and listen to that kind of talk and not rise up and say that is flawed, that is false and that is untrue,” Mr. Kelly said.
Ms. Waters went on to say that President Trump is dividing this country after Mr. Kelly said that he and his colleagues are trying to make America great again, a reference to President Trump’s 2016 campaign slogan.
It should be noted that Ms. Water’s predominantly Black constituents are some of the poorest people in California and she and her husband live in not 1 but 2 mansions valued in the millions of dollars, plus own 2 or 3 others.
