Soros’ Mission: Take Out the US as the World’s Superpower
- US on the Edge of Civil War
Friday, conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh warned that the United States may be “on the cusp of a second civil war” following the violent protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, last weekend.
“We have not seen anything like this. You might even get away with saying that we are on the cusp of a second civil war. Some of you might say that we are already into it, that it has already begun. However you characterize it, though, we are under attack from within. And, it’s being bought and paid for by people from outside America, in addition to inside,” Mr. Limbaugh said.
The Charlottesville protest began when white supremacists and other alt-right activists objected to the removal of a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee from Emancipation Park.
Violence broke out between the activists and leftist protesters who had descended on the park to condemn the white supremacists.
Lawmakers across the country have since called for the removal of Confederate statues and monuments from public spaces, a move leftists are promoting to “distort, erase, and impugn our history.”
“Now, folks, in order to defend America, which I believe is incumbent upon all of us, in order to defend America, you have to begin knowing our history,” Mr. Limbaugh said.
“If you’re gonna defend the United States of America, you have to know our history. You have to know the purpose of the United States of America. You have to know unequivocally and proudly the United States’ place in history. And that is why erasing and distorting our history is crucial for the left to succeed,” he added.
US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley told her staff Friday that everyone must stand up and condemn hate.
A Jefferson Davis Memorial Highway Monument along US 60 near Gold Canyon in Arizona has been tarred and feathered by vandals trying to make a point about the President of the Confederacy.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
Tarring and feathering is a form of mob vengeance meant to punish and humiliate.
