Singapore Horse Racing: Golden Horseshoe Series
Comprising five races, the eighth edition of the Singapore Golden Horseshoe Series began with the Kranji Nursery Stakes on Fridayat the Singapore Racecourse.
The Series is sponsored by Aushorse Marketing Pty Ltd (Aushorse), William Inglis & Son Ltd (Inglis), International Racehorse Transport Pty Ltd (IRT) and Magic Millions Pty Limited (Magic Millions). The first leg is named by Singapore Turf Club while the remaining four legs are each named by the Australian sponsors.
The rest of the four legs will be run over the next two months, culminating in the Series’ finale of the Group 2 Aushorse Golden Horseshoe in July:

In this year’s Series, an Australian-sired horse which was offered for sale at a public auction through Inglis or Magic Millions as a yearling or two-year-old (means qualified horse)* is entitled to bonuses for selected legs. If a non-qualified horse wins any of the lead-up races with additional bonuses, the respective bonus for that race will jackpot to the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe race on Friday, 13 July 2018. Should a non-qualified horse win the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe race, the remaining bonus monies, taking in any previous bonus monies not having been paid out, will be paid to the connections of the qualified horse that won the greatest amount of prizemoney during the Series.
