RACE 1: CLASS 4 (1) – 1100M (POLYTRACK) TIME: 18:50 PRIZE MONEY: S$60000

WHITE CHIN (3) is having his first start today, he has been looking very good in work and won’t surprise if he scores at his first run. MAXIMUS (1) put in a solid effort last time out but jumps 3.5kgs, he is another that is training very well. ENTHUSE (7) is back after a five-month spell and is with the in form stable of Stephen Gray who looks to have him ready for a 1st up victory. BEST WISHES (5) last start winner over 1200 is not out of t his.

1.ENTHUSE (7)
2.WHITE CHIN (3)
3.BEST WISHES (5)
4.MAXIMUS (1)

RACE 2: OPEN MAIDEN (WEIGHT FOR AGE) – 1600M COURSE A (SC) (TURF TRACK) TIME: 19:20 PRIZE MONEY: S$35000

ZA’EEM (1) looks to be the one to beat here, the extra distance will suit him, the draw will help, so might the addition of blinkers. YU LONG EMPEROR (5) has been consistently good, he makes the switch to turf which he has proven he handles just as well, he has been knocking on the door. Stephen Gray trained DARC BELT (8) he showed some real quality at his second start he has drawn off the track but that is not a huge disadvantage considering his racing style. The rest of the field is a pretty average bunch if you are looking for a fourth try KEEP WINNING (9) who looks like the mile will suit.

1.ZA’EEM (1)
2.YU LONG EMPEROR (5)
3.DARC BELT (8)
4.KEEP WINNING (9)

RACE 3: KRANJI STAKES C (2) (SET WEIGHTS) – 1200M (POLYTRACK) TIME: 19:50 PRIZE MONEY: S$80000

RED DAWN (4) put in a strong effort behind Skywalk last start and he has been very consistent tonight he could take the Chocolates. ANONYMOUS (5) will return to the Polytrack and and is coming off a good run behind Webster on the turf his last win was the same over course and distance if the race is run fast he is the big danger. DREAM COMES TRUE (6) is taking on some tougher horses here but has real place claims. BATTLE OF TROY (3) is a chance of sneaking in there for a place.

1.RED DAWN (4)
2.ANONYMOUS (5)
3.DREAM COMES TRUE (6)
4.BATTLE OF TROY (3)

RACE 4: RESTRICTED MAIDEN (2 AND 3 YEAR OLD) (WEIGHT FOR AGE) – 1200M COURSE A (SC) (TURF TRACK) TIME: 20:20 PRIZE MONEY: S$75000

RAHEEB (8) looks like the bet of the night, a strong second to the very smart Nowyousee last time in a very fast race. His track work has been superb and everything points to victory. KRANJI GOLD (5) was not disgraced last time out, he may not be good enough to win but the weight and the draw put him in there for a shot at a place. PER INCHARGE (7) Leticia Dragon has opted for a claim here and the horse has trailled well, he will be a chance given the light weight. MAGIC EMPEROR (6) and BORN TO BE KING (4) are a couple of very well bred expensive imports watch the betting on these two horses they certainly carry the bloodlines of champions.

1.RAHEEB (8)
2.KRANJI GOLD (5)
3.BORN TO BE KING (4)
4.MAGIC EMPEROR (6)

Come racing in Singapore with Knightsbridge from as little as $5000

RACE 5: CLASS 5 – 1600M (POLYTRACK) TIME: 20:50 PRIZE MONEY: S$35000

Hard race to call this one, you can pretty much make a case for all the horses, YOURSTOKEEP (11) an oldie but a goodie he will be thereabouts at the finish.Import ACE HARBOUR (1) needs longer and is only a chance if they go hard early. BIG GUARDIAN (3) is drawn off the track but was a good run last time despite taking the lead to early, if they race him smarter tonight he has a shot. THE ONE (4) has been nicely drawn and has been consistent.

1.YOURSTOKEEP (11)
2.ACE HARBOUR (1)
3.BIG GUARDIAN (3)
4.THE ONE (4)

RACE 6: RACING FOR RHINOS 2017 KRANJI STAKES C (1) (SET WEIGHTS) – 1200M (POLYTRACK) TIME: 21:20 PRIZE MONEY: S$80000

LIM’S SHOT (4) got a great draw and will lead this in to the turn, that should see him control the race and take the money. TERMS OF REFERENCE (8) won last time out in good fashion but he is hard to catch, a model of inconsistency but has a shot here, watch the betting. MR LUCK (5) pops up every now and then. Drops in grade and can make presence felt here. JELLY BEAN (3) is backing up from a horrid last start but prior to that he was racing well, he should be there at the finish.

1.LIM’S SHOT (4)
2.TERMS OF REFERENCE (8)
3.MR LUCK (5)
4.JELLY BEAN (3)

RACE 7: OPEN BENCHMARK 67 – 1400M COURSE A (SC) (TURF TRACK) TIME: 21:50 PRIZE MONEY: S$60000

Stephen Gray’s LIM’S MAGIC (10) is our second best bet of the night. This is a harder race but he looks to be a quality horse, overcame some bad luck last start to win and that is what good horses do, win. QUEEN ROULETTE (5) is a last start winner and suited here, very good chance of figuring in the finish. CLASSIFIED (4) a good third to Webster last time out and is back to turf which suits. VALBUENA (3) seems to like the 1400 and is a chance.

1.LIM’S MAGIC (10)
2.QUEEN ROULETTE (5)
3.CLASSIFIED (4)
4.VALBUENA (3)

RACE 8: CLASS 4 (2) – 1100M (POLYTRACK) TIME: 22:20 PRIZE MONEY: S$60000

SHAQRAA (3) horrible gate but this horse was unlucky behind the Larneuk Bred rising star Filibuster and that form is very good, you may even get some value here. MOKASTAR (2) is a speedster and will lead the field has a good chance of hanging on for a place. AUTUMN RUSH (1) is a quality horse, has not set the training tracks on fire but is looking good, may need the run but is fresh and a chance at the minors. LUCKY SIX (4) will be one of the front runners if you are looking for a fourth.

1.SHAQRAA (3)
2.MOKASTAR (2)
3.AUTUMN RUSH (1)

Singapore Horse Racing: Friday Night Review

See tonight’s selections, Click Here

Another great night of racing at Singapore Turf Club tonight.

RACE 1: CLASS 5 (1) – 1000M (POLYTRACK) TIME: 18:50 PRIZE MONEY: S$35000

This is a tough one to start proceedings with, Ocean Master and Great Seven look the best of an average lot, Great Seven will probably lead and Ocean Master will be finishing hard late, if you need one for the Trifecta Best Jade is the only other horse with any real claims here.

RACE 2: RESTRICTED MAIDEN (2 AND 3 YEAR OLD) (WEIGHT FOR AGE) – 1400M COURSE C (LC) (TURF TRACK) TIME: 19:20 PRIZE MONEY: S$75000

New trainer KY Yong gets his chance to win his first race in Singapore with Crown Gift. Crown Gift was a solid third to speedy Larneuk bred Filibuster and on that run he looks a special in this race. Super Power has been racing well and represents the main danger here, for the trifecta Zulu Warrior should be finishing fast and is from the in-from Stephen Gray Stable.

RACE 3: OPEN BENCHMARK 67 – 1800M (POLYTRACK) TIME: 19:50 PRIZE MONEY: S$60000

The superbly bred Gold Faith (DARK ANGEL (IRE)/LIVADREAM (IRE)) is a quality horse and the distance is not an issue for him, he was disappointing in the G3 race last start but drops in grade and distance here he has a real chance at good odds. Black Swan is the one to beat, he won well last outing and has been freshened up for this, Turquoise King drops in grade here and should be in the placings.

RACE 4: OPEN MAIDEN (WEIGHT FOR AGE) – 1200M (POLYTRACK) TIME: 20:20 PRIZE MONEY: S$35000

Waitahanui has been running some great trials but his draw in this is atrocious, Amiability is dropping in distance but he may just pinch this, 1600 last time out was too far but the 1200 should see him have enough to feature in the finish, for the trifecta Grand Canyon, he is unpredictable but he has some chance.

RACE 5: CLASS 5 (2) – 1000M (POLYTRACK) TIME: 20:50 PRIZE MONEY: S$35000

This is another tough race Obsticles Free should jump and lead and may have enough left in the tank to win, Invincible Man should be thereabouts at the finish and for the trifecta Top Note.

RACE 6: CLASS 4 – 1200M COURSE C (LC) (TURF TRACK) TIME: 21:20 PRIZE MONEY: S$60000

Have to stick with the impressive Filibuster form here and go with Wijaya, Wijaya will be improved from that run and is our best bet of the night. Golden Kingdom and Northern Prince for the minors.

RACE 7: KRANJI STAKES D (SET WEIGHTS) – 1800M COURSE C (LC) (TURF TRACK) TIME: 21:50 PRIZE MONEY: S$38000

Lims Ripple finished fast last time out and the extra furlong will suit, El Don is a good quality horse and may well put pressure on Lims Ripple, Cheetah King should fill the minors.

RACE 8: OPEN BENCHMARK 67 – 1200M (POLYTRACK) TIME: 22:20 PRIZE MONEY: S$60000

Deimos should easily take this on current form, En Civil and Kolombia for the placings.
