Sam Bankman-Fried during his trialls, has sent out emails to past investors who lost their money, trying to patch things up. He also tried to meet the new CEO of FTX John Ray III in person.

It was also disclosed by Coinbase that Bankman-Fried used some of the FTX money in buying shitcoins.

Sam bankman-Fried was not alone in his endevours with CUMROCKET though, as Elon musk had tweeted similar interests. With this in mind, maybe the idea was not too far fetched to buy the token in the short run, as we know how Elon Musk has the power to influence the Crypto market, but a $135k investment from FTX money may have been a bit of a stretch in his position.
