Remember America’s Soldiers, Sailors and Marines Who Died in Military Service

Memorial Day is the day the United States for remembering those who died while serving in our country’s armed forces

Today, May 28, 2018 is the day.

The holiday was 1st held on May 30, 1868, in the US it marks the unofficial start of the Summer vacation season, while Labor Day marks its end.

Many people visit cemeteries and memorials, particularly to honor those who died in military service.

Many volunteers place an American Flag on each grave in national cemeteries.

Again, remember the men and women who died while serving our country, it is not to be confused with Veteran’s Day, or Armed Forces Day.
