Tom Durant paid $950,000 for a Quality Road colt from the family of A.P. Indy and Summer Squall during Friday’s fourth session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
Consigned by Lane’s End, agent, the colt is out of the winning Storm Cat mare Storm Showers.

Nursery Place, agent, consigned the colt, whose dam is the winning stakes-placed Salt Lake mare Hot Spell. The colt is a half-brother to stakes winner Saratoga Heater.

Solis/Litt acquired a Speightstown colt from the family of 2019 Woodward Presented by NYRA Bets (G1) winner Preservationist for $700,000 during Friday’s fourth session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
Gainesway, agent, consigned the colt, whose dam is the Grade 3-placed winner Tokyo Time, by Medaglia d’Oro. She is a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Hungry Island and Grade 3 winner Soaring Empire.
Ben McElroy, agent, paid $550,000 for an Empire Maker colt from the family of Grade 1 winner Finder’s Fee about two hours after the start of Friday’s fourth session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
Consigned by Denali Stud, agent, the colt is out of the Bernardini mare Spare Change. She is a daughter of Finder’s Fee.
