President Trump,”We pray for the strength and wisdom for a better tomorrow”
President Donald Trump delivered his weekly address Friday, noting the celebrations of Passover and Easter.
“America is a nation of believers,” he said. “As families gather in houses of worship across the nation, we are grateful for the tremendous blessings of this nation, our home. We have a beautiful country, an abundant countryside, and an amazing people with a truly bright and wonderful future.”
The fight against terror remains a “barbaric” threat, and the President noted the ISIS attacks in Egypt, and offered prayers for the families of those lost in the attacks.
He then sent a message to people of faith.
“We pray for the strength and wisdom for a better tomorrow, one where good people of all faiths, Christians and Muslims and Jewish and Hindu, can follow their hearts and worship according to their conscience.”
The President closed his message by addressing struggling Americans.
“We are fighting for the right of all citizens to enjoy safety and peace, and to work and live with the dignity that all children of God are entitled to know,” he said.
Have a terrific weekend.
