President Trump’s Voter Approval Rate Jumps to 51%
The majority (51%) of likely US voters now approve of President Donald Trump’s job performance, while 48% disapprove, a new Rasmussen Reports daily presidential tracking poll reveals.
It is President Trump’s best overall job approval rating since April 2017, according to the poll.
By comparison, President Barack Hussein Obama had a 46% job approval on 4 April 2010 in his second year in office.
Figures provided by Rasmussen show that President Trump’s 51% approval Wednesday was an increase over the 49% he had achieved on Tuesday.
Since 1 January he has managed to hit 50% 3 different times, but not go over. His lowest approval was 42% so far in Y 2018.
The poll surveyed 1,500 likely voters. The margin of error is plus or minus 2.5%.
