President Trump’s Supporters; Smartest, Strongest, Hardest Working…”
US President Trump called his supporters “the smartest, strongest, most hard working and most loyal that we have seen” in the history of the United States.
He made the comment on Twitter Saturday morning.
“It is a beautiful thing to watch as we win elections and gather support from all over the country. As we get stronger, so does our country. Best numbers ever!”
The President praised his supporters in response to a recently released exchange from 9 November, 2016 where an FBI employee told a Bureau attorney, “Trump’s supporters are all poor to middle class, uneducated, lazy POS that think he will magically grant them jobs for doing nothing.”
Notably, a recent New York Times report indicates that the President’s assessment about elections underway may have merit, stating, “Senate Republicans…have seen nearly every electoral variable turn in their direction in recent months.”
And now, President Trump job approval ratings have tied his all-time high of 43% while his disapproval number has dipped to 46%, according to a new Monmouth poll.
Most American adults say that the meeting between President Donald Trump and NKorean Leader Kim Jong Un was a good idea, according to a Monmouth poll released Thursday.
The 7-in-10 who say it’s a good idea is up from 63% in late April, including 93% of Republicans, 74% of independents, and 49% of Democrats. Only 20% say it was a bad idea.
The recent poll also shows 46% disapprove of the job Trump is doing as President, perhaps a side effect of the good feelings people have about his efforts on NKorea. President Trump also ties his record high approval rating (43%) in Monmouth polling, which he last achieved in March 2017.
