President Trump’s Approval Rate at 50%
Fully 50% of likely US voters approve of President Donald Trump’s job performance, the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows.
Another 49% disapprove of President Trump’s performance, according to Rasmussen’s polling.
According to Gallup
US President Donald Trump’s approval rating is at 39%, according to a new Gallup poll.
The pollster’s weekly tracking of how voters rate the President’s job performance said 56% disapprove of the job he is doing in the White House.
The previous week, President Trump had a 41-54 approval rating. And as recently as June 17, he had a 45-50 rating.
The 39% approval in the latest poll is the lowest since April 22, 2018 when he recorded a 38% approval rating in the weekly survey.
Gallup polled 1,500 people for the survey. The margin of error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.
There might be a Red Wave coming
Last Sunday, President Donald Trump touted his Presidential approval numbers compared to his predecessor Barack Obama, tweeting that his administration was, “winning on just about every front and for that reason there will not be a Blue Wave, but there might be a Red Wave!”
The president touted his approval rating specifically on the economy and U.S. military, but didn’t provide where he received his information.
48% of likely voters approve of President Trump’s job performance, according to theRasmussen Report released onAugust 3, while the most recent Gallup Poll has the president with a 40% approval rating compared to President Barack Hussein Obama’s 45% at roughly this time in his presidency. The Rasmussen Report has Mr. Hussein Obama with a 46% rating at this time in his Presidency.
