President Trump’s Approval Hits 48% and Rising

FLASH: 68% said the National Economy is “very good” or “fairly good.”

President Trump’s approval rating has jumped to 48% in a new NBC News/SurveyMonkey online poll.

Here are how the new poll results, released Friday, break down, as follows:

  • 22% said immigration is the issue that matters most to them now.
  • 21% said healthcare is the issue that matters most to them now.
  • 21% said jobs is the issue that matters most to them now.
  • 14% said the environment is the issue that matters most to them now.
  • 68% said the national economy is “very good” or “fairly good.”
  • 75% said they “somewhat disapprove” or “strongly disapprove” of the way Congress is handling its job, compared to 24% who approve.
  • 64% said they do not want the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, while 32% said they would favor it.

The poll, conducted 2-16 July surveyed 13,553 registered voters. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 2 percentage points.
