President Trump Signs Order, EPA Removes Climate Change Section of Website

The EPA on Friday removed the climate change section of its website as well as several other pages to “reflect the views of the leadership of the agency,” the agency’s associate administrator for public affairs said in a statement.

The EPA’s associate administrator for public affairs, said the decision was made to “eliminate confusion by removing outdated language first and making room to discuss how we’re protecting the environment and human health by partnering with states and working within the law.”

The EPA’s pages relating to climate change, climate science, the impact of climate change and what readers can do about climate change were all replaced with a headline that says, “this page is being updated,” and that, “we are currently updating our website to reflect EPA’s priorities under the leadership of President Trump and Administrator Pruitt.”

Have a terrific weekend.
