Monday sources said that President Trump plans an official launch to his re-election campaign in mid-June, the 4-year anniversary of his 1st run, sources said on Monday.
President Trump is likely to kick off his campaign with a rally in Florida, possibly on 15 June, followed in the days afterward with stops in battleground states.
The date will be close to the 4-year anniversary of when President Trump rode the escalator at Trump Tower down to a crowd of supporters and announced his candidacy on 16 June 2015.
President Trump considers Florida to be his 2nd home, since he owns the Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach and stays there regularly.
He won Florida in Y 2016.
Since President Trump took the Oval Office in January 2017, the US economy has soared with low unemployment and strong growth. Typically Presidents with an economy this vibrant would be strong bet for re-election.
