President Trump said his trade negotiators had received 2 “very good calls” from China Sunday. He said the Sunday evening conversations were a sign China is serious about making a deal.

This is the 1st time I’ve seen them where they really want to make a deal. And I think that’s a very positive step,” President Trump added.
