President Trump, “Making America Great Again, That’s Happening”
US President Donald Trump said Friday that the phrase “America First,” which he used repeatedly in his inaugural address, is “very threatening to others.”.
President Trump said in his remarks at a White House event commemorating the passing of the GOP tax bill that “Make America Great Again” is the superior slogan compared to “America First,” which sounds “threatening” to other countries.
“You made this possible,” President Trump told those in attendance.
“You are all truly making American great again, a slogan that I’m very proud of. That was a slogan that seemed to have worked, I tell you what. It was very special, and it’s so accurate. Even more so than ‘America First,’ you know. ‘America First’ is very threatening to others. We don’t want to be threatening.”
President Trump said in his 1st speech as President: “From this moment on, it’s going to be America First. Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs, will be made to benefit American workers and American families.”
He said Friday, “‘Make America Great Again,’ that’s happening.”
Have a terrific weekend
