The RNC pushing back against sacked, disgraced former FBI Director James Comey

Monday, Ronna McDaniel defended President Donald Trump after James Comey called the President “morally unfit” to serve on national TV.

“I think millions of Americans who voted for President Trump would disagree” with Mr. Comey, McDaniel, the head of the Republican National Committee, said in a TV interview Monday.

“The actions of this President show that he is a moral leader because he is working for the American people and pushing back on monsters like Syrian President Bashar al-Assad,” she added.

The US, UK, and France Saturday launched coordinated air strikes against the Assad regime for its use of chemical weapons on civilians, hitting targets associated with the country’s chemical weapons program.

Mr. Comey Sunday called President Trump a serial liar and said he is “morally unfit” to be President.

Mr. Comey said during his 1st television interview to discuss his highly publicized book, “A Higher Loyalty”, said “I think he’s morally unfit to be President. Our President must embody respect and adhere to the values that are at the core of this country. The most important being truth. This President is not able to do that. He is morally unfit to be President.”

Ms. McDaniel it is important for the RNC to push back hard against Mr. Comey’s assertions.

“We just want to put a counter narrative out there because we know that he’s putting his opinions out, his version of the truth, and I think it’s important to push back,” Ms. McDaniel explained.
