President Trump in his commencement address to the US Military Academy at West Point’s 1,107 graduating cadets that the job of the American soldier is not to rebuild foreign nations but “defend, and defend strongly, our nation from foreign enemies.”
“We are ending the era of endless wars,” he said. “It is not the job of American forces to solve ancient conflicts in faraway lands that many people have not even heard of.”
That was a very clear message to Beijing, the Pentagon, all Field Grade officers, Domestic Terrorists, Blue state Governors/Mayors, and anyone with the thought of insurrection in America.
President Trump went to West Point at a time of tension with US military leaders over whether the military should be used to quell violent nationwide protests.
He made it clear that he is the Commander-in-Chief!
In his remarks Saturday, President Trump touched on the debate over racial injustice in the United States, saying the Cadets are examples of America’s diversity.
“You have come from the farms and the cities, from states big and small, and from every race, religion, color, and creed. But when you entered these grounds, you became part of 1 team and 1 family, proudly serving one American nation,” he said.
Have a healthy weekend, Keep the Faith!
