US President Donald Trump has scheduled a Tuesday visit to flood devastated Texas White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders announced Sunday.
“We are coordinating logistics with state and local officials,” Sanders said Sunday. “Once details are finalized we will let you know.”

Friday, Tropical Storm Harvey slammed into Rockport, Texas, as a Category 4 Hurricane with winds of about 120 mph. The storm has weakened since then, but it has continued to dump record amounts of rain across southeast Texas, resulting in catastrophic flooding.
Torrential rainfall is expected to continue across the region through at least Wednesday.
