Donald Trump will ‘Gut” Hussein-Obama’s Pro-Muslim (Islam) Policy

If you had to name one group that has benefited above all others during the Obama Admin this side of Iran’s Mullahs, one would be hard-pressed to come up with a better answer than the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Obama Admin did everything it could to prop up the group, from direct support of the “party” and its thankfully now-deposed leader Mohamed Morsi in Egypt, to its arming of Brotherhood-aligned “moderate rebels” throughout the Middle East, and its embrace of the Brotherhood-inspired “countering violent extremism” paradigm at home.

With a single sentence from soon to be Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, President Elect Trump’s Administration signaled that it intends to upend this disastrous policy.

Rex Tillerson stated: “The demise of ISIS would also allow us to increase our attention on other agents of radical Islam like al-Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, and certain elements within Iran.”

Mr. Tillerson’s words and Congress’ contemporaneous and consistent related actions to designate the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist group, along with National Security Advisor Mike Flynn’s moral clarity on Islamic supremacism, should give Americans hope that under a Trump Administration the days of Islamist coddling will end.

What would lead Tillerson and the Trump administration to lump the Obama Administration-allied The Brotherhood with purveyors of “radical Islam” like al-Qaeda and Tehran’s jihadists?

The Muslim Brotherhood is the tip of the Sunni Islamic supremacist spear.

Its ideological leaders, Hassan al-Banna and Sayyid Qutb, imbued the group with a totalitarian theopolitical ideology fixated on spreading Sharia law over the world through means both violent and peaceful.

As revealed in the group’s explanatory memorandum for North America produced in 1991, it seeks the destruction of Western civilization from within.

The Investigative Project on Terrorism’s primer on the Brotherhood notes: The Muslim Brotherhood has provided the ideological model for almost all modern Sunni Islamic terrorist groups. When discussing Hamas, Al Qaeda, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Richard Clarke, the chief counter terrorism adviser on the US National Security Council under Presidents Clinton and Bush, told a Senate committee in 2003 that “The common link here is the extremist Muslim Brotherhood, all of these organizations are descendants of the membership and ideology of the Muslim Brothers.”

Consider that while our federal government during the Obama era officially recognized the Muslim Brotherhood, allied with it, and invited members to our State Department, Arab nations like Saudi Arabia joined its Gulf neighbors in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain in designating the Brotherhood a terrorist group.

If such Arab regimes view the Muslim Brotherhood as a mortal threat, shouldn’t that tell us something?

A sea of change in our counter jihadist policy as indicated by Mr. Tillerson’s words, Congress’ actions and the posture of our National Security Council is so critical because the Muslim Brotherhood’s tentacles are so far-reaching.

President-elect Trump’s team is taking the steps necessary to ensure such practices cease.

As readers are no doubt aware, beyond the Muslim Brotherhood’s detrimental operations overseas, numerous Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas-linked groups have proliferated throughout the U.S., many masquerading as moderate fronts.

As Chris Allen Gaubatz, a panelist during a 2016 Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing on America’s willful blindness to the global jihad and national security expert who himself infiltrated the Hamas-linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), noted in written testimony: “The current [Obama] administration and the US national security apparatus continues to use leaders of Muslim Brotherhood groups like ISNA, the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), CAIR, and others to provide direct input into American foreign policy and domestic counter-terrorism strategies.”

President Elect Donald Trump’s Team is taking the steps necessary to ensure such practices cease.

For we must no longer provide aid and comfort to Islamic supremacists.

We must instead engage them on every level and in every theater.
