Badu Networks Launches IndieGoGo Campaign for pixelFlik Private Photo/Video Sharing Service, Apps and pixelFlik.tv Set-Top-Box
pixelFlik is a photo and video sharing service that allows users to easily and instantly share what they want, with who they want, in full-resolution
Badu Networks, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to support the development of its pixelFlik™ service and mobile apps, as well as production of its pixelFlik.tv set-top-boxes. pixelFlik is a new app and service that is designed to make sharing large amounts of photos and videos with select groups of friends, family and colleagues easy, nearly instant and private. Users can select which group of people (Tribe) to share with and then take a photo or video with their smartphone. pixelFlik then shares the files and video by delivering them to their devices. The photos and videos can then be immediately viewed by everyone in the selected Tribe.

“I wanted to address an issue that we seem to all have, namely, lots of photos trapped in our devices with no simple way to catalog, archive, and organize them,” said Dennis Vadura, CEO of BADU Networks.
When it comes to organizing photos and videos of our precious memories, today’s options are limited and require many steps. Organizing and sharing those memories with family and friends is an even more difficult task. pixelFlik takes the headache out of photo and video sharing, making sharing precious moments with your Tribes quick and as easy as just taking a photo. Want to send photos of the kids to the grandparents? Simply share your photos to the grandparents Tribe. Want to share videos taken at an event with your friends in real-time? Simply select the Tribe of friends you want to share the videos with and start recording. Every member of your selected tribe will immediately have those shared photos and videos stored on their pixelFlik account for them to view, in a nicely labeled folder. No need to attach files to an email, share links to stuff you’ve uploaded to the cloud, or expose your life on social media.
pixelFlik is a great tool for professionals too! Photographers and videographers are always looking for solutions that allow them to capture and share their content with clients. However, due to the size and quantity of files, many still resort to sharing physical drives with their clients to transfer content. With pixelFlik, professionals can set each of their clients up as a Tribe and share full-resolution photos and videos with them instantly. What about content taken on professional equipment? No problem! pixelFlik’s Web-based component allows users to login on a computer to their pixelFlik account and share files the same way they would via the app.
pixelFlik is more than just an app, there is also a pixelFlik.tv set-top-box. pixelFlik.tv is an ideal solution for grandparents and distant relatives, or for people who just aren’t so tech savvy and for those who simply prefer to view their memories on a much larger screen. Users who opt to purchase a pixelFlik.tv set-top-box will have a backup of all of their photos and videos attached directly to their TV.
