A New World of Travel Luxury: The Anam Vietnam

Set to celebrate its grand opening in April, The Anam overlooks 300 metres of absolute beachfront on Vietnam’s scenic Cam Ranh peninsula, basking in sunshine at least 300 days of the year.

The luxurious five-star resort, which will celebrate its grand opening in April this year, boasts 117 villas and 96 rooms and suites. When completed, The Anam will feature a restaurant, pool bar and beach club, in-room dining, a Balinese spa, 3-D cinema, three capacious swimming pools, a conference room and three meeting rooms, ballroom, water sports centre, fitness centre, tennis court, yoga facilities, kids adventure club and playground, and more.

The Anam’s design is inspired by Vietnam’s bygone Indochine era, evoking a nostalgic tone with its imperial-style roofs, lanterns, big-bellied water vases, encaustic mosaic floor tiles and stone pathways.

The Anam’s villas are recognised by Worldhotels as ‘World Luxury’ – the resort is one of only six worldwide to achieve this status. The Anam and its team help bring the resort’s philosophy of “No News, No Shoes, No Stress” for guests to life by blending Colonial-era charm and warm-hearted Vietnamese service with modern comforts and convenience.

Shaded by 3000 palm trees, the lush 12-acre Anam property overlooks Long Beach and its white sands and turquoise waters, dotted with the occasional sampan and coracle and picturesque islands in the distance. Dramatic headland named “Song Lo”, meaning the wave next to the mountain, rises up to the immediate north and west, combining with the bay to afford a remarkable vista seen from many a vantage point across the resort.

Easily accessible from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, The Anam is emerging as one of Vietnam’s top coastal resorts, and is the first truly luxurious property in up-and-coming Cam Ranh, a pristine coastal destination removed from the hustle and bustle of nearby beach city Nha Trang.

Also, Cam Ranh boasts some of Vietnam’s most idyllic weather, with a tropical climate averaging 26.7 degrees Celsius year round. The Anam’s stunning geographic setting and tropical weather lend themselves to a host of water sports and other recreational activities. The Anam also stakes a claim to some of the best sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.
