FLASH: The Trump ‘Witch Hunt’ is over, Congressional Dems up in arms, begging the Question: What do they not get about its Over?
Special counsel Robert Mueller delivered his final report to US Attorney General William Barr, which has many on the right coming to the President’s defense and blasting the report as a waste of time with no new indictments. As Rudy Giuliani says, “I told you so!”
SC Mueller sent his Russia probe that investigated whether or not there was any Russian collusion in the 2016 Presidential Election and if there’s any connection to President Trump to USAG Barr Friday. He will now determine how much will be made public.
The Special Counsel just completed 2 years of investigating ‘Russian collusion’ without 1 collusion related indictment,” Representative Mark Meadows (R_NC) Tweeted, adding, “Not even 1.”
Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) blasted the investigation, claiming in a statement on Friday that it “should never have happened. He added that former FBI director James Comey tried to “manipulate ongoing investigations.”
“Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein then empowered Mueller’s team to act with little accountability or adherence to their original scope,” he wrote. “This travesty of justice should never again occur to any American.”
“Mueller role was to conduct a criminal investigation, what will now follow is mainly political harassment leading to, perhaps, a futile impeachment exercise,” Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) Tweeted Friday.
Many people are anticipating how much of the Mueller Report will be made public.
“Let it come out, let people see it, that’s up to the Attorney General … and we’ll see what happens,” President Trump told reporters on Wednesday.
Have a terrific weekend.
