Majority of Voters Do Not Like MSM Coverage of President Trump
Voters disapprove of the way the MSM (mainstream media) covers President Donald Trump, but they also do not like the President’s attacks on some news organizations, according to new Quinnipiac University poll results released Wednesday.
Below are the survey’s results, as follows:
Do you approve or disapprove of the way the news media has covered President Donald Trump?
- Disapprove: 56%.
- Approve: 36%.
Do you approve or disapprove of the way President Trump talks about the media?
- Disapprove: 65%.
- Approve: 32%.
Do you trust President Trump or the news media to present the truth about important issues?
- News media: 54%.
- Trump: 34%.
Is the news media an enemy of the people or is it an important part of a democracy?
- Democracy: 71%.
- Enemy: 21%.
The Quinnipiac University poll was conducted Wednesday through Monday and has a margin of error of 3.5 percent.
