Look Ahead, Overcome Investing Fear, Win!
$DIA, $SPY, $QQQ, $VXX
A whole lot of people are fearful about investing in stocks, especially if they have invested little or nothing in the market.
The media pundits fill the air with conflicting messages about whether the stock market will continue hitting new highs or is a house of cards waiting collapse.
It is Noise!
The experts are not unsure, and the average person must learn to decide how or when to invest.
Of course people do not want to miss out on future gains, they also do not want to look foolish by buying at record highs, and then see a crash.
When one looks at the markets that way it is a guarantee of procrastination or sidelining (not in)
Short-term market moves do not matter a whole lot.
First learn about the markets and how they work, confidence then overcome fear and indecision, start small, build.
Putting small amounts of money to work over time reduces your market-entry risk and is an effective way to conquer market fears.
Diversification reduces risk and can increases investor comfort level.
Large-cap US stock funds should be a core holding, but they are not the on issues to own. Small-caps can and often are the biggest winners percentage wise.
The Key to success is to develop a long-term investment strategy and maintaining your investment mix regardless of market conditions is a better way to ensure success than moving in and out of the market.
Again, tune out the Noise and learn how the markets work, make work and knowledge win!
