Knightsbridge Hunting Magic Millions Glory
One of the most exciting race series in Australia is the Magic Millions and the Magic Millions Race Day on the beautiful Gold Coast in Australia has already become a feature event around the World. It is a target for owners around the world including Asian based Knightsbridge.
“it is not hard to catch Magic Millions fever and we think Magic Millions we always think Guy Racing, as important as it is to have a great 2yo we know with Bryan and Daniel Guy the horse will also be able to go on to have a career as a 3yo and beyond.” Issaree Suwunnavid CEO of Knightsbridge said.
Knightsbridge already have 2 2yos with Guy Racing, Shady Hustle (a Magic Millions purchase) that is raced in partnership with Aquis Farms and Sahara River a small filly that is currently out for a spell.
The attraction of the Magic Millions race series has seen Knightsbridge add 2 new yearling fillys to the hunt for a Magic Millions prize.
” we have 2 Clusters fillys headed to Guy Racing after being slowly broken in by Tal Nolen, they are from the very 1st Cluster crop and did not meet their reserve at the Magic Millions in Adelaide.” John Heffernan of Knightsbridge in the UK said, “we like Cluster and we think he will produce very good 2yos, he sold well at the sales and some big name trainers are involved in many of them, the fillys were also born and bred at Larneuk in Victoria, there is no mistaking the Larneuk quality about them” he added.
Two generations of one of Australia’s great racing families has returned to training at the Gold Coast with the proud formation of a training partnership between Bryan and Daniel Guy.
The father and son duo learned their craft under the tutelage of patriarch, the late great Sydney trainer Ray Guy, before taking their acquired skills to the Gold Coast with great success.
The Gold Coast has everything an owner would want for their racehorse, a great climate, outstanding facilities and the course hosts a meeting every week while remaining in close proximity to Brisbane or the rich northern NSW racing circuit.
Bryan and Daniel Guy know what it takes to produce a winner from the Gold Coast, winning trainers’ premierships at the venue and in Brisbane with an average of more than 65 victories per season for the last decade.
Here is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a lease of a rising 2yo Filly by Cluster out of the good producing mare Grand Manners. She is paid up for the Magic Millions and will be aimed at the January 2019 2yo Classic. An added bonus with this filly is that she is out of a family that only improves with age so the future is bright. Being a lease there is no upfront costs and only monthly accounts so the cost is minimal but the upside is plentiful.
