Japanese Yen: USD/JPY (JPY=X) downwards to 110.55
Having reversed from 112.15-20 horizontal-resistance, the USDJPY now rests on 50-day SMA level of 110.80, which if broken on a daily closing basis could further fetch the quote downwards to 110.55 and 110.25-20 support-zone. In case the pair refrains to respect the 110.20 mark, its plunge to 100-day SMA level of 109.55 and a consecutive south-run to 109.00 can be expected.
Should prices take a U-turn from 50-day SMA, the 111.40 may offer immediate resistance to the pair before highlighting the 112.15-20 area again. However, a D1 close beyond 112.20 might not hesitate challenging the 112.70, the 113.15 and the 61.8% FE level of 113.75.
Overall, the bias in prices is: Sideways.
The projected upper bound is: 112.06.
The projected lower bound is: 109.87.
The projected closing price is: 110.96.
A black body occurred (because prices closed lower than they opened).
During the past 10 bars, there have been 3 white candles and 7 black candles for a net of 4 black candles. During the past 50 bars, there have been 23 white candles and 27 black candles for a net of 4 black candles.
A spinning top occurred (a spinning top is a candle with a small real body). Spinning tops identify a session in which there is little price action (as defined by the difference between the open and the close). During a rally or near new highs, a spinning top can be a sign that prices are losing momentum and the bulls may be in trouble.
Three black candles occurred in the last three days. Although these candles were not big enough to create three black crows, the steady downward pattern is bearish.
Momentum is a general term used to describe the speed at which prices move over a given time period. Generally, changes in momentum tend to lead to changes in prices. This expert shows the current values of four popular momentum indicators.

Commodity Channel Index (CCI)
The CCI shows overbought (above 100) and oversold (below -100) areas. The current value of the CCI is -103.This is an oversold reading. However, a signal isn’t generated until the indicator crosses above -100. The last signal was a sell 15 period(s) ago.
