James Comey Tried to ‘frame’ President Donald Trump in a ‘Hooveresq’ Move that Failed…

…got the Trump Kiss of Death and sacked!

James Comey tried to ‘frame‘ President Trump in memos the former FBI director kept of their conversations, President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani charges.

In an interview aired Sunday the former New York City mayor and federal prosecutor called the tactic “horrid.”

In a case involving the President of the United States, it does not take a genius to figure out that what Comey was trying to do was to frame Trump,” Mr. Giuliani said.

Law enforcement officers that frame people . . . they are horrid.”

He also charged Mr. Comey engineered the investigation of Russian interference in the Y 2016 election by former special counsel Robert Mueller that followed Mr. Mueller’s firing on 9 May 2017.

“He orchestrated the whole thing,” Mr. Giuliani said. “If you look back on it now, there was never any need for Mueller.”

A Justice Department IG report concluded Mr. Comey’s leaked memos, which he gave to his friend, Columbia University law professor Daniel Richman, sought to trigger a special counsel appointment.

Mr. Comey told the inspector general he had to leak the memo because it concerned a matter of “incredible importance to the nation, as a whole,” according to the report.

There is a lot more to come, stay tuned…

Have a terrific holiday weekend.
