Presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway Monday criticized Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Hussein Obama for referring on Twitter to Victims in Sri Lanka’s Easter church bombing attacks as “Easter worshipers” rather than as Christians.
“You have to ask them about that,” she said in a TV interview about the wording Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Hussein Obama used. “There is no confusion on our part.”
Ms. Conway added she knew Mrs Clinton would lose to President Trump because she would never say the term “radical Islamic terrorists” while speaking at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
“There are many evil people, many different ideological and many religions, but when you have Islamic terrorism, when she was secretary of state, while her husband was president, murdering innocent people, call it what it is,” Ms. Conway said. “We can solve the problem.”
President Trump pledged American support to Sri Lanka in bringing the perpetrators of a coordinated bombing attack “to justice” during a call with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, a White House spokesman said Monday.
