Ford Motor Co. will replace Chevrolet as the presenting sponsor of the 2017 Woodward Dream Cruise, metro Detroit’s annual celebration of car culture.

Ford tries to keep the Mustang fresh by periodically revisiting or dropping various design cues from the pony car’s illustrious history. For the slightly restyled 2018 Mustang, Ford will offer an optional Pony Package for EcoBoost engine-powered Mustangs (this means not a GT or GT350). Ford will wrap the running horse grille emblem in a chrome surround that Mustang zealots have come to call the “corral.”
