Ferrari’s (NYSE:RACE) Vettel Will Be Quick, MBZAMG’s Hamilton will be Absent at Bahrain
FLASH: Lewis Hamilton, 33 anni, the MercedesAMG star announced he will miss the Bahrain Grand Prix to party in Dubai. The Silver Arrow team are in shock at the news that the 4X World champion decided to attend the World Fashion Festival Awards 2018, and skip the race, and his commitment to the sport now a cause for major concern. And a decision on who will partner Valtteri Bottas for MercedesAMG in Bahrain is yet to me made.
Ferrari’s (NYSE:RACE) Sebastian Vettel is a professional, and he declares that he and Lewis Hamilton have only fallen out once before and sees no reason why they should not get on during the Y 2018 F1 championship battle.
Mr. Vettel won the season-opening Australian GP ahead of Mr. Hamilton, his victory coming a day after Mr. Hamilton jokenly told him he wanted to “wipe the smile off your face” with Pole position in qualifying.
Mr. Vettel admitted that their relationship soured at “a point” in Y 2017, he claimed the 2 4X world champions “don’t have a problem with each other”.
Referencing the comments made by Mr. Hamilton in Saturday’s press conference, Mr. Vettel said: “He said he was joking and I believe him.”
Mr. Vettel added: “I think we are old enough, I don’t think we need to go on that sort of level.
“It’s fine as long as we joke with each other and I think even if we are very different persons, I think we share – all of us – a common passion and that makes us quite equal again.
“We love racing and we try to do our best, once we’re in the car and beat all the others.
“I think in that regard, I don’t see why we shouldn’t get on with each other.”
Mr. Vettel made it 2 straight wins at Melbourne last weekend.
Up this weekend is the Bahrain GP, a race Mr. Vettel and Ferrari were victorious at in Y 2017, I do expect another close race between Ferrari and the Silver Arrows.
The Ferraris are always quick on hot circuits, they will be quick at night in Bahrain.
Mr. Hamilton rocked the MercedesAMG team Sunday morning confirming he will skip the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Be sure to tune in.
Have a terrific week.
