Ferrari’s (NYSE:RACE) “Passione” Event Held at Silverstone
The UK’s Silverstone Track was home to numerous private and factory owned Ferrari HyperSupercars at the weekend for the 2-day ‘Passione’ event.
The Formula 1 circuit had VIP clients, guests, and owners of different Ferrari’s rule the course for the Passione event.
Former Scuderia F1 driver Rene Arnoux, and current Scuderia F1 driver Marc Gene were in charge of coaching clients around the 5.6 km (3.5 miles) long track in their XX Supercars.
Those who chose to spend their weekend at Silverstone had the chance to see a number of Ferrari F1 racers on display, such as the 312T, 312 T5, and Nigel Mansell’s 1990 641/2, with which he won the World Championship.
Besides the impressive display of modern and classic cars, the iconic automaker’s Northern European arm hosted the annual Ferrari California T charity event, with Rays of Sunshine, a charity that grants wishes to terminally-ill children, and BEN, the automotive industry’s fund that helps families from this domain in times of need, bringing together 50 children.
The kids had the chance to ride shotgun in a Ferrari California T, around the Silverstone Stowe Circuit.
Having completed 3 years of technical training in the Apprentice workshop at Ferrari North Europe’s head office and with the Official Dealer, 5 new Service Technicians were welcomed to the dealer network, in a graduation ceremony held Saturday.
