The Ferrari 812 Superfast lives up to its name and all of the talk about it. The Supercar is a mix of raw power and technology that keeps it on the road and it looks good both inside and out.
The Ferrari 812 Superfast is a production car, that is a race car. A V12-powered Stallion that carves up roads without breaking a sweat. It is at the Top of the Supercar mix; fast, expensive and when you look at it you will want it.
The name Superfast is an homage to the luxurious V12 5ltr GTs of the 1960’s, it is perfect.
That speed is delivered by a 6.5 liter V12 that yields an impressive 789 hp and 529 pounds of torque. The air intakes on this car are large, sucking up the wind and producing a lots of raw power. A V12 engine needs to breathe, and those intakes make that happen.
The powertrain thrusts the 812 S from Zero to 62 mph in 2.9 secs. Plus, 80% of the car’s torque is at 3,500 RPM. That means most of the power without the high revs. There is a jolt at every gear change. And it is a good thing there a lot of aerodynamics that keep the car stuck to the road, or it could take off!
Inside, the 812 Superfast is pure Ferrari
The steering wheel looks like it was taken from an F1 car, overwhelming at 1st, it will take a few ours to figure out what all the dials, knobs, and switches do.
Like most Supercars, the part of the infotainment system that deals with navigation is lacking. Ferrari states that it supports Apple’s CarPlay.
The Superfast’s US starting price $337,000, but ‘loaded’ it is $474,500, it is a super-expensive road & track car that you can drive around town, and that is very cool.
Enzo Ferrari’s iconic Italian Supercar manufacturer claimed the title according to the latest Brand Finance Global 500 2019 report launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
HeffX-LTN overall technical outlook for RACE is Neutral to Bullish, overhead resistance is at 164.45 and support at 158.44, some Key indicators are now flashing Neutral to Bullish in here. Ferrari finished at 160.10, +1.99 Thursday in NY. The stocks 52 wk trading range is: 93.85 – 170.54.
Ferrari will continue to create value in the long term. Ferrari is a quality 1st long term investment, and I see it at 200/share in that frame.
Have a terrific weekend.
