In the aftermath to their Brazilian Grand Prix Sunday, Ferrari (NYSE:RACE) may soon decide if their drivers; Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc will race against each other or not.

Messrs Vettel and Leclerc have been summoned to Ferrari’s Maranello headquarters, where they will be asked to explain their incident that took place on lap 66 during Sunday’s race.

Speaking about Vettel and Leclerc’s crash and the aftermath of it, Ferrari Team Principal Mattia Binotto said, “We need to sit down and decide where the limits are to make sure these things don’t happen anymore. When we have tried to manage the drivers before we have been criticized. When they are free to fight we have been criticized, too. But we need to clarify what is silly, what is not, and what is the limit. When you have a crash there is no doubt that something has gone wrong.”

Mr. Vettel was signed by Ferrari ahead of the 2015 season for $47-M per season to end The Scuderia’s title drought that goes back to Y 2007. He has failed to challenge for the title even once since his Ferrari move. While, his young teammate Mr. Leclerc has proved to be more competitive in his maiden season with the team.

Speaking about Messrs Vettel and Leclerc’s “supposed ruined” relationship, Boss Binotto added, “I am still convinced it is a luxury to have them in the same team because they are both very good drivers and a benchmark for each other.”

What I read or hear, is different from what I see internally with them. They have a good relationship, but certainly what happened on Sunday may not help that,” Boss Binotto said.

With 1 race left this year, Mr. Leclerc has already outperformed his 4X world champion teammate taking 7 poles and 2 wins to Mr. Vettel’s 1 victory and 2 poles. There have been reports that Mr. Vettel has not been cooperating with Mr. Leclerc, who is set to finish ahead of his more experienced team-mate in the championship unless Mr. Vettel wins at Abu Dhabi and the he finishes 7th or lower.
